Good news is that the data on the errant HDD was recoverable. So I have all my music and documents back.

Really not ready to talk about the bad news though.

I am an uncle today..my niece was born around 2:36 this afternoon.

Me and my father were on the way to the hospital when my sister delivered via c-section..doctor said that the placenta was wrapped around her neck twice so she couldn't deliver traditionally, but she survived the initial attack and made it into this world.

Busy with school for the most part. I have to study some of this stuff (mainly C++ and HTML) because it doesn't come natural to me. So I spend a nice amount of time learning the material.

So far, I've gotten a 92 on my HTML midterm and a 96 on my Windows: Single User midterm. I fear my C++ one, which is coming up Thursday. That SS studying system is doing wonders.

Love life is still dormant. There's a couple of prospects, but I don't have the energy at the moment to deal with a full-blown relationship. I don't think neither of them are either. I missed an opportunity to take one of them to the State Fair because I was worried about my scholarly pursuits. :\ Sorry, Coco.

There's more, but I'll get onto that later.

Just one of my favorite albums ever. I remember being a youngun when my parents took me with them to the movie theater to see the movie. Even as a tyke, songs like Darlin' Nikki and I Will Die 4 U were greatness.

Say what you will about the movie, but this soundtrack is untouchable in my ears. Sonic euphoria.

I applied for it back in May thinking that I wasn't going to get it. A lady from the school called me last Wednesday, telling me all of the details and such. I get my books tomorrow. :)

That's what I was meaning about last week being difficult. I got some other things done that I don't have to stress anymore.

Outside of that, things are rather breezy. For once this year, things are looking up. :3

I got my fuel pump replaced; my friend knew how to do it. That's probably the best thing to happen in the last 10 days.
